It isn’t a secret that I work in a primary school. I adore my work, and any chance I get to give back to the school and community that have made me feel so at home I do. When Sports Ball Shop got in contact with me about providing some resources I jumped at the chance!
Sports Ball Shop are a family-run company based in Oxfordshire, who want to spread the message that they can support schools by providing high quality equipment with a friendly customer service. I know the e-mails I’ve bounced back and forth have made me feel valued and most of all – it has made me feel my school is valued and not just a name on the order form.
They are encouraging schools to visit website and take the opportunity to stock up PE stores completely free of charge and with no strings attached. By signing up, you’ll have your choice of Lusum branded rugby balls (sizes 4 or 5) sent to school. Lusum are a sports brand who are excelling at providing equipment at a grass roots level – without the frills of sponsorship, making them viable for smaller clubs and school based activities.
Ours arrived this morning, and I took them to our PE department where they’ll be put to good use – and I also banked a great resource for future PE equipment needs. We obviously went for the size 4 ball, as a primary school – smaller rugby balls for smaller hands – and I haven’t had to sign up for credit nor is there any small print. Simply a box of high quality equipment arriving at school today.
Once you have signed up, you will get an e-mail confirming that you are indeed representing a school – within that e-mail will be the link to confirm your order for the free balls. Please note that as this is a family based company, there may be a small wait between you signing up and then getting the confirmation e-mail.
Please pass this post on to anyone who works in schools – lets spread the word and get our children playing some rugby!
