Sometimes it’s really important to appreciate what you have on your doorstep, especially on days when the sun is glorious and you have a few hours spare.
We rarely get time as a family thanks to Mike working a lot in a demanding job, so we try and make sure the time we do get together as a family isn’t wasted. Being able to take BB down to the local canal and allowing him to roam on his reins was incredible, and we got a few photographs to boot.
Having BB meant I could take my time with him and point out fun textures he could touch, such as the bark on this tree (rough) and the moss which grew on it (soft) and various flowers which were blooming on the route he took.
We spent a good few hours exploring, and it was hours well spent!
