on the world-famous Mersey Ferry. I’m sure everyone knows the relevance of the ‘ferry cross the Mersey’ song which actually does play as the vessel takes you on a small tour around the Mersey. Obviously, weather depending, you can have a relaxing trip or a rather wobbly one – I think the guys were lucky and had quite a pleasant trip out onto the waves, giving them a look at Liverpool from the waterfront.
There is food and drink available on the ferry itself, and the tour runs for just under an hour featuring guided commentary about Liverpool herself and The Wirral.
As I previously mentioned, you can visit all three attractions for £38 as part of a ‘family pass’ – well worth investing in if you are stuck for a day out and want a variety of different things to do. With such a variety of interests catered for, why not make a day of it and visit The Wirral?
