This week has slowly settled into old sleep routines so both me and my little boy are much more rested than we have been! That means we’ve been having more adventures around town, more playtime in the house and more chance to enjoy our days rather than counting down to the next naptime.
This week, I’ve never felt so strongly that I’m currently living the best days of my life. I might not sleep like I used to, I might have to share my dinners (and emergency chocolate as I found out) and I may never go to the toilet alone but.. I love it.
His childhood is passing by so quickly, like sand passing through my fingers. I’m trying my best to hold onto it but it’s just drifting away, so I’m making every little day count and drinking it all in.
Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood and its trials & tribulations. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and each Monday I’m going to share a moment from our week. Over the course of 52 weeks, I’ll have a series of snapshots built up which shows my little boy blossoming!
