This week was our first time at forest school, and I managed to snap a picture of little BB being in awe of some of the activities he could access there. Considering he’s cutting his last teeth and sleeping terribly, he had a blast — but that’s going to be its own post in the next few days as part of the 30 Days Wild series!
He’s much more confident with his walking these days, and can often be found somewhere he shouldn’t be exploring. I have no regrets about moving when he was a few months old to a house with a garden, as the previous house had a garden that wasn’t enclosed — with a disused reservoir in the back. Definitely not ideal for this intrepid explorer. Now he can explore to his hearts content with no risks.
Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood and its trials & tribulations. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and each Monday I’m going to share a moment from our week. Over the course of 52 weeks, I’ll have a series of snapshots built up which shows my little boy blossoming!
